Enrichr has one purpose: transform text explicitly selected by the user with the AI provider they configure.
Data handled
Enrichr handles the following data only to provide its text-transformation features:
- Text the user explicitly selects and the pre-prompt they choose.
- The user’s OpenAI, Google Gemini, or OpenRouter API key.
- Provider, model, and custom pre-prompt settings.
- The five most recent AI-generated results.
How data is used and shared
Selected text and the chosen pre-prompt are sent directly from the browser to OpenAI, Google Gemini, or OpenRouter, depending on the provider selected by the user. This transfer is necessary to return the requested AI result. The applicable provider processes that data under its own terms and privacy policy.
Enrichr has no developer-operated backend. The developer does not receive the selected text, API keys, settings, prompts, or result history. Enrichr does not use analytics, advertising, tracking, or data brokers, and does not sell user data.
The use and transfer of user data is limited to providing Enrichr’s disclosed single purpose and complies with the Limited Use requirements of the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy.
Local storage and retention
API keys, settings, prompts, and the five most recent AI-generated results are stored in Chrome extension storage on the user’s device. Adding a new result removes the oldest result beyond this limit.
Users can clear result history from the side panel. API keys and other settings can be changed or removed from the settings page. Uninstalling the extension removes its local extension storage according to Chrome’s behavior.
Security
Requests to OpenAI, Google Gemini, and OpenRouter use HTTPS. API keys are sent in request headers and are never included in request URLs. Password fields on webpages are excluded from text capture.
